Keith first learned to play music by taking piano lesson as a child and playing clarinet in the school band. As a young adult Keith studied improvisational jazz and blues with one of Louisville’s foremost jazz guitar instructor. As life and career got in the way Keith put down his guitar but never lost his love for music. Keith eventually developed a passion for Bluegrass music because of its connection to his family roots in rural Western Kentucky.
“He picked up the mandolin because of its unique “high lonesome” sound and it versatility. He studied the instrument for many years with former Bluegrass Boy Jim Smoak. Keith currently can be found playing around town with Millers Folly Bluegrass Band and Engine 18. You can email Keith at: email@example.com
